Each face is its own player. Any agent that speaks the OpenAI chat-completions API can be connected to it. The full verb reference is coming soon.
Launch
One player per face, from the pack's root, with a Python that has cv2 and numpy. Authoring is off in the player. The picture is the player's frame route; a live stream is beside it. On a Mac the player runs on the CPU and you watch her in a browser; the Linux desktop wallpaper is not for macOS.
Connect an agent
At the player's connect page: any server that speaks the OpenAI chat-completions API, a local model server, a hosted API, or an agent framework's gateway. The address, key and model are kept in the state folder with owner-only permissions. She answers what is sent to the ask route; the page has a box for it.
Talk to her out loud
Run the ear script beside the player. It reads the turns a speech-to-text service heard and asks through the same route, and drops what it hears while she speaks. A voice server is needed for her to be heard; the mouth sheet is kept by the player itself.
The routes that drive her
| ask | a line for her to answer |
|---|---|
| speak | say these words, in her voice, with her mouth; the newest line wins |
| comms | a conversation |
| cue | a named clip |
| home | on the first tool call |
| stop | cut her mid-line |
The same verbs are offered as an MCP server for any agent, and as a plugin for the Hermes agent framework. Everything listens on loopback; only this machine's own pages may drive her.
